After school to close temporarily

After School is due to close next Friday (7th May) for a temporary period due to not having a Supervisor in post after that date.

Audlem Treehouse is, of course, extremely keen to recruit a qualified supervisor to take over from the current supervisor who is leaving.

Audlem's After School Club has the advantages of fabulous purposely built premises in the lovely grounds of Audlem school, and a great team of staff – but the club relies on having a suitably qualified supervisor in post.

Do you know of anyone who might be interested?:

  • Qualifications: the person needs to be NVQ 3 qualified in childcare or have an equivalent qualification.
  • Hours and days: the After School Club is open 5 days a week from Monday to Friday (3 – 6.00pm) during school terms. The post can be filled by either one person, or could be shared by 2 or more suitable people each doing one or two sessions each week.
  • Permanent or temporary: the post could be offered on a permanent basis or possibly on a temporary basis. (There is currently an experienced member of staff in training who would be interested in taking on the position once she qualifies which she hopes would be later on in the year.)
  • What if the person has school age children of their own? After School fees could possibly be reduced or waived – in negotiation with the Treehouse Committee.
