ADAS's Silent Auction raises £1,800

Audlem Online has received the following report from ADAS chairman, Ralph Warburton:

" The ADAS Silent Auction was a roaring success and we raised just under £1800 on the day with 100 lots being offered. Around 12 were not sold. This is a best ever result – and this time done with absolutely no advertising costs. Publicity on the website and the leaflet drop must have had a good effect.

"Our thanks to all who supported the event and enjoyed the fun of the day. It was a long but very worthwhile day which started at 0700 and finished at 1930. Special thanks must go to Geoff Stretch who put in much help in setting up the auction and laying out the tables. He is a true star."
