Audlem District Amenities Society has published its programme for next year. The Society's function is to raise money to enhance the facilities of Audlem, Buerton, Coxbank and Lightwood Green including all the floral features and the Christmas lights and trees. Anyone wishing to join the Society should speak to any committee member (see below).

The programme includes the Painting Competition and Marrow Growing Competition for the schools in May/June; the planting of the Summer floral displays and hanging baskets in June; the Scarecrow Competition on 1st July and the Open Garden Weekend and Silent Auction on 8th and 9th July. The NW Area judging of the Britain in Bloom competition follows in July as will judging of the ADAS 'Best Kept' Awards which run throughout the summer. The ADAS AGM is on 18th October and the year will concude with the Christmas trees and lights, carol singing and the New Year's Eve firework display in conjunction with ASET and Audlem Parish Council.

Committe members are Ralph Warburton; Shirley Firth: Michelle Perkin; Ann Wollaston: Ronni Briggs; Bill Consterdine; Mike Haines; Julie Hesketh; Lynette Hughes; David Latchford; Irene Pryce and Janet Simmons.
