On Monday this week we planted The Lord Combermere shrubbery bed with a range of shrubs. Our reasoning for this move is that with the mature trees there, the use of summer bedding is not successful in the fight for moisture amidst the tangle of tree roots.

We sourced all these from the excellent stocks of Bridgemere. We hope that all will be pleased with our work for the village.
The summer planting of tubs and baskets will follow in early June as all has been delayed in growing by the cold weather.
