ADAS leaflet and donations

The ADAS (Audlem District Amenities Society) donations envelopes are being distributed to local households at present.

ADAS does an enormous amount of good work in the district and depends upon donations to complete this work of planting bulbs, flowers and trees; work with the school with pupils growing plants; their involvement in The Big Switch On and organising the annual Carols in the Square and much more.

With the envelope this year is a leaflet describing their work and their aims:

• To both enhance and protect the community
• To initiate schemes for the benefit of the community
• A conduit and overseeing brief for the community
• Support for the community

The main source of income for ADAS is from members of the community within Audlem, Buerton, Coxbank and Lightwood Green with additional money raised through investments and fund raising events such as yesterday's Table Top sale.

Remember, Gift Aid also enables ADAS to reclaim basic tax rate on your gifts.
