ADAS anniversary event

Audlem District Amenities Society celebrates its 40th year since its inception in 1969. The AGM, which takes place on the 22nd October in the Scout & Guide Hall, will be a very special one.

We have invited all living past Chairmen, plus all the Parish Councillors of both Audlem and Buerton. In addition certain special volunteers have been also asked along for the event.

We will present the report for the year and this will take about 30 minutes. We then have the sad duty to wish farewell to two retiring committee members and following that a humorous talk by Mr Brian Lloyd.

A special array of material from the archives will be featured on the display boards, as will a presentation by the Fire Cadets on their Ghana adventure.

Wine and nibbles will be served at what we trust will be a very convivial time for all to see the displays and to chat about the Society and the whole community.

All ADAS members are welcome to come along – as indeed are any one interested in our work and in the well-being of the area.
