A local correspondent writes to say: "Trying to gain access to Braids the hairdressers this morning with a wheel chair, I found that fencing has been put up encroaching on the footpath to the door. It is too narrow to get any sort of wheel chair through. The

hairdressers have complained but added, "these things always go up when we are not there". It feels as though they are under seige!"

Update: Having read this story online, a Parish Councillor contacted the developers (Mullers) who reacted extremely quickly and resolved the situation. The fencing has now been moved and is no longer obstructing the entrance to the shop. Wheelchair access has been resumed.
