Festival Drayton

Just across the county border into Shropshire is a town called Market Drayton. Audlem has occasionally been referred to as a town just north of Market Drayton!

AudlemOnline is aware that a number of Audlemites already visit the Drayton Festival Hall (without having to show passports!) and enjoyed performances there, that simply put, are either unavailable or rare in our fair town.

These include:-

• Cinema
• Live
• Satellite

Cinema is an obvious category – and on inspection will in March be screening Death on the Nile starring Kenneth Brannagh – and many other films before then.

The Satellite category includes live performances relayed via satellite such as Opera and Ballet, for example La Traviata and Swan Lake.

Live category includes music and comedy for example, by some well known names.
