The RNLI's ThreeShires cycle sportive will be heading through Audlem this Sunday 14th May, not once but twice!

Around 400 cyclists of all ages and abilities will depart from Sandbach Rugby club early Sunday morning on a 100km charity cycle ride loop of Cheshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire to help raise funds for the RNLI, the charity that saves lives at Sea.

The riders will be approaching the village from Crewe via Coole Lane where they will hit their first 'pit stop' at Overwater Marina. From there they will cycle through the centre of Audlem where a number of local businesses will be throwing out a warm welcome with the opportunity for pub, shop and cafe stops, as well as being able to find any urgent mechanical assistance from Audlem Cycle Sport!

With bunting and seating along the high street we're expecting quite a carnival atmosphere for the riders! The cyclists then head on towards Adderley before taking on a long steady climb to Norton-In-Hales as part of their 'Three Shires' Shropshire leg before returning to skirt Audlem village again before heading out towards Staffordshire.

If you're around the village late morning this Sunday, why not come along and cheer them along for a great cause!
