I am an experienced, qualified Psychology teacher with 15 years' experience teaching A Level at a leading FE college in Crewe. I am also an experienced examiner for a leading examination board. My tutoring service aims to instill confidence, is stimulating and engaging and is tailored to a student's individual needs. I will provide a bespoke service and students will receive one-to-one support, interactive workbooks, examination papers, mark schemes and other relevant resources. I am a qualified secondary school maths teacher currently working in an academy within East Cheshire. I am a Maths Graduate with more than 15 years experience in teaching and tuition in Maths. Most of my experience is at secondary level, but I welcome pupils of all ages up to A level. I am offering two separate groups on a Tuesday morning, one specially designed for Babies and Toddlers and the second is aimed at Pre-school age. We will learn French with music, movement, visual props, sensory experience and imaginary play. I am licensed to teach by La Jolie Ronde whose award winning teaching materials for 0-12 year olds are used and enjoyed in 1000s of settings across the UK. We are Jon and Rachel, and both highly experienced secondary science teachers.
Rachel is a chemistry teacher with 17 years experience currently working in a large academy in Shropshire as a Deputy Head of Science.
Jon is a biology teacher with 17 years experience of teaching in a selective grammar school in the West Midlands, where he has also achieved Chartered Teacher status and delivered initial teacher training on a national level.
We both teach students from Year 7 to 13 and offer tuition in KS3 Science, GCSE Biology and Chemistry, and A-Level Biology and Chemistry. We both have experience of preparing students for examinations and universities, as well as addressing gaps in knowledge and challenging topics that may be the result of unavoidable absence of challenging circumstances.
We are equipped to tutor from our own home in an air-conditioned studio with projector or can make arrangements for pupil home visits.
We are available to tutor most weekday evenings and/or weekend by arrangement.
