Jennifer Coyne on Council minutes

Fairly sure I saw them displayed on the notice board a few weeks ago.

bob fousert on Cllr dines out at The Lord Combermere

2nd September 2021 @ 5:50pm

What more evidence do we need as to why the parking issues in the village are not being addressed and not likely to be in the near future?!

Dianne Hardy on Slide Projectors

Hi Lynette
They're probably too busy dining at TLC every night and parking on double yellows to worry about such trivial matters

Has anybody seen the minutes of july 12th Audlem council meeting . As it would be good to be kept up to speed with what the PC is doing .

David Parry on Audlem Music Festival

2nd September 2021 @ 10:34am

I agree that it was good to see the festival take place and to see Turnpike Field utilised as a camping field. Less positive to see 7 bin liners of rubbish still there nearly a week after the start of the event and other litter scattered on the field.

Emma Sanderson on Baby groups

2nd September 2021 @ 10:10am

Hi Janet, I was just wondering if you had any information on when/if Praise and Play will start again? Thanks

Mike Hancock on Slide Projectors

1st September 2021 @ 8:18pm

Hi Adrian, my wife has recently inherited her parents slides from the 60's but has nothing to view them on so would be interested in one of these. We can be contacted on Han.co@btinternet.com or 07471500945. Thanks Mike

Adrian Farrow on Slide Projectors

1st September 2021 @ 10:15am

In this age of digital photography, we have found ourselves with two 35mm slide projectors and recall that some time ago, there was a post on Audlem Online from someone looking for similar equipment.
We have a 1960's Aldis Aldisette and a 1970's (probably) Hanimex La Ronde RF Automatic – both boxed with the original manuals.
Both seem to work as they should so if anyone locally could make use of them, please get in touch for more information.

Andy Laughton on Postie Last Day

1st September 2021 @ 8:07am

Fully agree with all the posts about our lost posties. Not only have we lost lovely caring people but already the service has slipped ( I assume not the fault of the new guy ) Our post arrives mid afternoon instead of mid morning. Not a massive problem in itself but an indication of a cheapening of the service?

yes the music were excessive , could hear the music in Buerton, and we were indoors and tv on thought it was coming from windmill lane though, funny how sound travels.

Bob McClintock on Fireworks

Heard the fireworks myself . Wonderful to hear people enjoying themselves. Bring on the wedding venue. Could be a nice little earner for our local students

M.e on Fireworks Sunday night

30th August 2021 @ 6:48pm

Ref to the fireworks on Sunday night, I can 100% confirm that they did not come from Hankelow Hall, I believe that they came from somewhere in Hankelow but NOT Hankelow hall.

Ian jones on Fireworks Sunday night

30th August 2021 @ 4:10pm

I can assure people that the fireworks on Sunday night were not at Hankelow Hall.

Kelly-Ann Jines on FREE PA SPEAKERS

30th August 2021 @ 3:14pm

Hi
My son and friends aged 15 have started a band and are now looking at playing live. This would really help them to get up and running.

ELIZABETH GREEN on FIREWORKS AT HANKELOW

30th August 2021 @ 2:53pm

We could hear all the music and firewoks in Buerton. The proposal for the Wedding venue has to be defeated.

Lorna on Fireworks Sunday night

30th August 2021 @ 11:29am

They were from Hankelow Hall I believe there was a dance party/event on all weekend.
And we're on the anwyl estate and it could be heard inside our homes too...let's hope the wedding venue does not get the go ahead by Corbrook as I can only imagine how loud and disruptive that will be.
