These are the best mouse traps I have ever used. Bait them with pieces of chocolate!

Judy at Williams has i hope a range of spring traps. poison bait and probably the traps that you can take away from your house and release elsewhere. Please not in Broadways as I have a problem too and will get a trap just as soon as we are no longer testing positive.
I had this problem in Stafford Street and found bits of bacon or chocolate in the old fashioned sprung traps worked well, the only downside is handling the little sad carcasses. Better than wondering where the dead mouse is when using warfarin etc.
As for the humane traps I did get one to work but the squirming so unnerved me when I was taking it to the field that I dropped it so assume it escaped.
George Beaman advised me not to keep anything edible for them in the house,
Good hunting.
Disappointed that the wonderful sessions in Nantwich Civic hall seem to have stopped. We tried 119 but the combination of poor English and mentioning mobility problems meant we were offered Alsager which option then seemed to disappear and only Sandbach remained. We gave up and booked Whitchurch through the website but then the letter from CWP arrived only offering Alsager or drop ins in Nantwich. Presumably Whitchurch not offered because over some border or other. There is also a drop In bus visiting Keele University but it did not give future dates. I was left unimpressed.
Any recommendations for help getting rid of the happy mice who have moved into our house??? Thanks Tim

Hi David,
So sorry for the delay in replying – yes my contact number is 07953031921 & you'll also find details about me now in the Pet Services section of the directory too.
Thanks
Having booked a table for ourselves and our niece and husband who were visiting from Devon, we turned up at the White Lion, Hankelow yesterday evening to find that I had mistakenly made the booking for next Thursday. But very pleased to say, that in spite of it being very busy, the staff were most helpful and were able to fit the five of us in. I'm not a 'foodie' person, nor do I readily give recommendations, but I have to say that the food was excellent and well presented (didn't have to wait ages to get it), the staff very helpful and attentive and the ambience, most inviting. At last, it's a place that Hankelow can be proud of. Many thanks, The White Lion.
I use M J Manley (Mick Manley) 07594483531 All collected free very good service used many times never let down.
Do they have the authority to make venison illegal except in their own canteens? Never had it myself but I believe it is a healthy meat if that isn't an oxymoron.
Is there a scrap metal collector in the Audlem area, please?
To the chap in the BMW Z4, prefix CA08, that was parked four feet from the kerb outside the CoOp this morning then decided to overtake at speed, the traffic queueing for the lights consequentially almost colliding with the lead vehicle pulling around the green light; I do hope somebody can teach you some road sense sometime soon before you are the cause of somebody being hurt.
Is anyone else fed up with the sound of manoeuvring beep alarms? I can't see the source of the annoying sound, but can hear it through the double glazing. On occasions it starts around 7am!
Cheshire east council set to make eating venison illegal, instead people must eat pheasant. Could this be a game changer?
Hi Sam – yes dog walking/sitting could well be of use in future. Do you have contact details please?
I am a qualified veterinary nurse & rehab therapist who lives locally & was wondering if anyone needs their dogs letting out/feeding walking through the week whilst they're at work?
Your news heading Cheshire East Council set to make..... sounds to me like the setup line for a joke, as in Cheshire East Council set to make, a new committee to look into potholes. Or Cheshire East Council set to make waves in Swanbach flooding issue, just wondered what other punchlines anyone may have?
On permanent red so far all day, might as well not bother having them as traffic flows regardless.
I would like to endorse Peter Morgans comments. The Parker's were as attentive to my requirements despite only a small holding as they were to larger farms. Always cheerful and suggestive of new methods. It is so sad to see the demise of such a long standing firm. My son worked for them during his university days at Wye College but was also tutored in various aspects ,the highlight being sent out to plough solo for the first time. Thank you Anthony and all your staff you will be sorely missed.
Chris
Well said Jill and I agree 100%. I also feel the same about the Adderley lights as well. Ironically; if the lights at Adderley had been there an hour before the accident, I'm guessing the accident wouldn't have happened. The only problem I see is that if or when the lights at Adderley are removed, the traffic will be at less regular intervals thus making it more likely that there will be a vehicle on the bend at the top of Green Lane approaching the village when some idiot is overtaking on that bend going towards Swanbach.
I'm personally loving the Swanbach lights -they slow down the traffic and make the Cox Bank junction safer -I hope they last as long as the Adderley ones €
A follow up to Peter Morgans piece on chatbox. A big thanks to the Parkers for providing employment and a good pay packet to so many local people for so many years . I would say unsung heros to this community. There are lot of people who are thinking about all of you during these difficult times
Personally, I would rather have seen all the submissions and made my own mind up as to what was "acceptable".
There have been 3 way traffic lights at Swanbach since Monday, covering a 25 yard stretch of road – but no signs of any activity in the road or at the damaged cottage all week. What's happening?
Plus, tonight I think the sequencing may have gone as cars coming through on green from opposite direction.
Cat missing since Monday 28th March from 7 Hayfields Grove Audlem. British short hair, lilac/cream in colour with blue eyes, micro-chipped and answers to Indy. Please could you check your gardens and sheds and contact 07706 821331 if spotted. Thank you
100% in agreement John, there is proper humour and 'there's not so proper humour'. Hopefully next year will bring a bumper crop again.
I think poor Avril was indisposed this year, Covid and PC topics made her tired and serious.
One thing was cheering to her....our former MP shared useful information to those in need of help with energy bills. I am in need of energy mainly. Thank you Antoinette Sandbach, restored a bit of faith in the system.
