Pete Marshall writes: "Next Tuesday, 8th July, the Youth Club will be holding a Knitting Night! (Yes you read it right!) As part of the Save the Children Campaign, the Youth Club will be knitting and crocheting hats for babies in South Africa.

"We are inviting experienced Audlem Knitters to come and join us and show us how it is done. We have already had some interest from the W.I and, of course, anyone in Audlem, male or female, old or young, experienced or not is welcome.

"It all takes place in the Public Hall between 7.30pm and 9pm on Tuesday 8th July and refreshments will be served."
