Granny May included the following in a Chatbox post last week to endorse Jinja Bakes Doorstep Cakes: "A  lemon drizzle has been delivered today — not tasted it yet as we are taking it to Wales for the walkers to enjoy."

Little did she, or indeed the lemon drizzle, know what was awaiting in Wales. You can read the full story in yesterday's news: Audlem walkers in Welsh train crash.

Fortunately, all are safe and uninjured and the walk by members of ARS (Audlem Ramblers Society) on the Owen Glendower Trail continues today.
