Audlem Online does not normally publish stories about weddings in the village mainly because we have been unable to find anyone willing and able to do the necessary gathering and entering of the story and photographs.
However, we have received some amazing photographs from the scene of the wedding reception that took place last week which we could simply not resist publishing.
The Public Hall was transformed into a Winter Wonderland for the wedding of Clare Sherwin and Adam Lovatt. The magic was carried out under the direction of Ann Boyden with enthusiastic assistance from a host of other Boydens and Sherwins. The photographs show the Hall ready for the reception, and we are told it looked even more spectacular when all the candles were lit!
To add to the general romance of the occasion, we understand that the couple became engaged at the New Year fireworks celebrations in Audlem last year, and that some of the wedding photographs were taken against the background of the Christmas Tree in the Square..
