Audlem Parish Council heard last night how traffic wardens were hitting local trade. Local traders turned out in force to vent their frustration at the wardens who appear to be slapping fines on many shoppers and also traders while unloading goods.
The meeting ended pretty late last night, hence no detailed story this morning, but much more tomorrow on the traffic wardens' activity on the car park and street parking and how the village might fight back.
There will be stories over the coming days covering other discussions and decisions at the Parish Council meeting.
