Many from Audlem seem to holidaying in Greece this year. Surprisingly, possibly the very best source of information on the Greek islands is a website based in Audlem. If you want stacks of information about the Aegean islands, the Dodecanese, Cyclades, Ionian islands, the Saronic or the Sporades, have a look at Mike Mason's superb website www.greekisland.co.uk(The website link that was here no longer works) . You can also access the site via our Links section on Audlem Online.
The site is pretty well at the top of Google's list and has huge numbers of people clicking on to it. You will find maps, honest reviews including the good and the bad about each individual island, reviews of all the beaches, detailed reports from visitors, links to other sites and information on flights, tour operators — in fact everything you need to plan a Greek Island holiday. Have a look at Mike's site and start to imagine the beautiful scenery, friendly people, a glass or two of wine and a relaxing meal in a waterside taverna — all after a hard day on the beach! Mike visits Greece regularly to ensure the information is kept up to date and he adds additional islands to the site each year.
