One of the cars broken into on Thursday night in Audlem had in its boot a brand new mountain bike. Somewhat ironically, the owner of the bike tells us, the electronic tracking device ordered for the expensive bike arrived in the post a day later. If the thief would care to contact Audlem Online, we can introduce him or her to the bicycle's owner so that the tracker can be fitted. This will ensure the thief's proud new possession cannot be stolen again.
If they do meet up, the tracker, which emits an electronic signal giving its exact location, can apparently be inserted with one deft movement into anywhere providing a suitably tight fit!
