An update on the Mend on Mum campaign
Berni and Colin arrived back here from the USA on September 26th after surgery in Texas . A long affair of over 6 weeks. Recently she has been poorly and now is in St Luke's Hospice seeking to get relief from her pain.
The doctors there are very impressed with her fortitude and we chatted a while. It is felt by Colin that visiting be minimal until she is stronger. I can act as a filter if needed.
An article in the Chronicle this week was written without reference to the family and there is some incorrect information in it. However the nomination for an award is very kind. I will give more news as the days roll by.
All the family wish to thank every body for their very kind thoughts and messages.
