(The website link that was here no longer works) Morris Care, who run Corbrook Court just outside Audlem, has recently appointed a top quality Head Chef, Paul Ratcliffe, who previously worked in a Michelin starred restaurant in central France and catered for 2,750 passengers on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Liner. With an impressive list of culinary awards, Paul now provides the residents at Corbrook Court with a nutritious balanced diet and caters for those with special dietary requirements.
A national campaign to improve the quality of food served in the UK's residential homes is being backed by celebrity chef Paul Rankin. Paul runs a successful restaurant in Belfast and is a regular face on a number of TV cookery shows, including 'Ready Steady Cook'. He believes that healthy food is essential across all generations and is eager to encourage care homes to move away from using convenience meals and ingredients and serve 'real food'.
Residents at Corbrook Court now enjoy a great selection of food and a social occasion with a menu which includes lamb cutlets with rosemary and redcurrant gravy or salmon supreme and many enjoy a glass of sherry before their main meal.
