The Table Top Sale by ADAS took place yesterday with the Public Hall (in perfect condition thanks to Geoff & Olive Stretch) brimming with a wide array of goods.
There followed a very busy few hours with many requests from table toppers asking if we can do one nearer to Christmas.
We even had a couple who stopped over on their journey north from Somerset to the Lakes. They bought raffle tickets in the sure knowledge that it was just a donation but they were entranced with our village spirit — and the best toilets they had come across!
All in all, a successful community event by ADAS
