Audlem Saints Under 8s soccer team rounded off their season on Sunday with a 6-1 victory over Betley. The skill levels were high and Audlem played the kind of football that has seen them lose only once this term and finish as deserved Champions. The final league table will record that from 12 games, they won 10, drew 1 and lost 1. In the process they scored 48 goals (spread pretty evenly through the team ) and conceded 16.

Every player has contributed well and the support of the parents and the village has been hugely appreciated. The boys will have a summer break now before returning in September when they will compete as under 9s!

Audlem Saints do hope to create a new team of under 8s and anyone interested should contact"> The players would need to be currently in school year 1 or 2 and under 8 on 1st September 2007. All games take place on Sundays (usually mornings) at the Soccer Centre at Shavington.
