The St Lukes Hospice Quiz Night takes place at the Public Hall on Saturday 13th October at 7.30pm. Details are available from memnbers of the St Lukes Committee and the posters in the village. The quiz will be by Ralph Warburton and typical questions will be:-
What is the common name for Dihyrdrogen oxide?
Which planet's moons are named after Shakespearean Characters?
Where is the maxila bone in the human body?
Come and enjoy a great evening of testing your knowledge. Make up a team of 4 with prizes as each of 7 rounds is completed with a final cumulative quiz round. Tickets at £7 — call 811887 — entitle you to a ploughman's supper. Bring your own drinks and glasses!
