Quizmaster Tony Lynch and landlords Kate and Andy Griffiths once again invite you to compete in the popular Tuesday night quizzes at the Shroppie Fly.

They start tonight at 8.00 pm, Tuesday 4th January, and continue until 15th March. As usual, the last night will be a special Charity Quiz Night. This year all proceeds will go to the local Scout & Guide HQ who desperately need funds to cover the costs of the recent improvements and support the work they do.

To join in the fun, get a team of four together, find a suitably silly name and turn up at the Shroppie in good time for an 8pm start. It only costs £4 per team entry (still the same price as when these quizzes started 16 or 17 years ago!) so why not give it a try?

And if you want to take part and can't find a further 3 team members to join you just turn up anyway. You're almost bound to be snapped up to fill up an empty space in one of the teams — or you may be able to form a new team with other couples or individuals who appear on the night.
