(The website link that was here no longer works) Audlem and District History Society have asked Audlem Online to pass on a request for help from people who are carrying out research on Audlem Gas Works and Bonells agricultural machinery firm. The sort of things they are interested in include: documents relating to the activities at these companies; photos of staff and/or the buildings; details of who worked there; anecdotes about or from people who worked there; what is built there now; whether either of these companies features in books and if so where, etc etc.

An example of the sort of thing they are looking for is this lovely photograph of two men with a Bonells van, courtesy of Mary Cope.

If you can provide any information at all please contact Celia Bloor at 01270 811260 / cvb@kinseycottages.org.uk">cvb@kinseycottages.org.uk.
