Rodney Cottrell has contacted Audlem Online to let us know how the RNLI Crewe & Nantwich Branch's latest fundraising events have fared. He writes:
"On Saturday 13th September on Audlem Square we collected a super £145 from donations, and Christmas card sales etc raised a further £304. This was just as much as the last three years despite the credit crunch. Well done everyone.
"On Nantwich Square on Saturday 20th September Christmas card sales raised £356 and donations around the town raised a further magnificent £912.
The good weather on both days must have surely helped. Many, many thanks to all who contributed."
