A local resident hiking to the east of the village came across a field in which there were three reindeer — he described them as Daddy reindeer, Mummy reindeer and Baby reindeer. Despite being a keen photographer, it was one of those rare occasions when he hadn't a high quality camera with him, although he did manage a snap on his mobile phone — so Audlem Online has been able to verify the claim.
Our correspondent is trying to get a better photo. We have no information as to red noses, but we await the photo with interest!
