The collection of Christmas trees by the Scout Hall committee over the weekend of the 6th and 7th January was a roaring success again. Close on £300 was raised for the hall's refurbishment and the volume of trees recycled was even higher than last year. Bigger trees seemed to be the order of the day. The refurbishment will begin soon and it will transform the hall.
