A reminder that the 1st Quiz Night of the New Year at the Lord Combermere will be tomorrow, Tuesday 3rd January. And thereafter every Tuesday through the year.
It is said that if you use it, you do not lose it – and in this context I am of course referring to one's brain and therefore one's mind/memory and cognative processes.
And it is also recognised as a guard against Dementia and Alzheimer’s to exercise one's mind in quizzes, crosswords and the like.
So do come and enjoy the fun and the occasional bits of repartee – plus the odd bloomers by myself. All in the course of a bit of entertainment.
Plus the super Lord C Supper
