Yesterday at about 4.30pm, two youths tried to remove our honesty box at Lock 9. Fortunately they were disturbed and a good identity was obtained.
It would take a JCB to remove the box but as usual we have colateral damage to repair as they were too lazy to open the gate but damaged it in climbing over it.
It's a pity they cannot do something useful like helping Audlem FC by playing for them. But I suppose they are looking for so called easy pickings.
