A copy of the Audlem Parish Plan has been distributed to all Audlem homes. If you live in the Audlem parish and haven't received a copy, do let the webteam know, with your address, and we will get a copy to you.
Reactions to the Plan have been very positive with many commenting immediately on the photography and quality of printing. The Plan reflects, hopefully, the way residents want Audlem to develop and what they said in the questionnaires distributed earlier this year and at three public meetings in January and September.
Copies are also being sent to organisations such as DEFRA (who had a copy of the draft plan as part of their assessment of Audlem for the national award announced yesterday); Cheshire County Council; a number of departments at Crewe & Nantwich Borough Council including Planning and Tourism; local councillors and our MP, Stephen O'Brien.
This, however, is just the start of the Parish Plan process as we now have to bring the various ideas to a successful conclusion. Some ideas are already underway, such as this website and the redesign of the Parish Council Newsletter. Others are very ambitious and some could take years. The Plan lays out the target dates and responsibilities for each proposal in detail in the Action Plans section.
