It's Audlem Parish Council's regular monthly meeting this evening, 3rd November, starting at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall.

Members of the public will be invited to comment on any of the items on the agenda or draw
attention to matters of concern before ordinary business commences.

A key item on the agenda for decision will be the acquisition by the village of the playing field, car park, children's play area and tennis courts from Cheshire East.

At last Thursday's Extraordinary Parish Council meeting, a packed house asked for a show of hands by residents to guide the Parish Council in making their decision.

The result was overwhelming support for Audlem taking on these assets. Out of approximately 60 residents present, there were only 6 abstentions and 1 against.

The Parish Council has said a decision will be made at this evening's meeting.
