The Audlem St James' School Newsletter from the last week of the Easter term reported:

"We would like to thank the six parents who attended the initial Parent Forum meeting on Wednesday evening.

"Mrs Rachel Wycherley, Mrs Hannah Teale, Mrs Deborah Varley, Mrs Hilary Serif, and Mrs Melanie Cole, met with members of the IEB, Mrs Johnson and Mrs Jewitt to discuss the purpose of a Parent Forum in our school and effective ways for it to be useful for all parents.

"It was a very productive meeting with great discussions and ideas being generated.

"We will hold an introductory meeting for all parents in the summer term where the outcomes of this will be shared. Please look out for a letter with details, dates and times after the Easter break.

"In the meantime, if you would like to know more about the meeting, please ask any of the parents who attended who will be happy to talk to you about it."
