NSPCC success
By Rose Consterdine - 2nd November 2014 6:09am
The Audlem NSPCC Support Group would like to thank everyone who helped to make the Stapeley House lunch such a success, both socially and financially. We made a profit of around £1,300 (although we are still awaiting two expensive invoices).
Many compliments have been received about the delicious food prepared by Paul Ratcliffe, helped by his father Alan and the impressive performance of Bob Cartwright with his entertaining talk entitled "Breaking news and the creation of it".
Our grateful thanks go also to Susan Pritchard at Stapeley House, Mr Ago for use of the marquee, Tastebud, The Fairy Godmothers, Ralph Warburton, Neil Warburton, Bill Consterdine, Ann Tilling, Catherine Gresty, Laura Woods and last but not least, all the diners who braved the tail-end of hurricane Gonzalo.
