We meet this Wednesday to form a true committee with chairperson, secretary, treasurer etc. and to decide on the name for the team.

The enthusiasm for the new venture, a new jewel in Audlem's so fine a community palette , is full and so keen to develop further.

All monies have now been counted and the grand total raised for the North West Air Ambulance is a fantastic £1529.16:
£364 came from JustGiving
£299.16 from Match Day
The remaining £866 was raised in the run up to the event & from the quiz/raffle/auction on Quiz Night at The Lord Combermere.

A huge thank you to all who have helped us raise such a fine figure and we do hope all were happy with what was a very happy village day.

The reportage of Riley Capwell at the age of 10 was a master stroke with his fine wit — and keen eye.

There will for sure be a return match next May! And there could even be a rebirth of the Audlem Boxing Day match. The men's team are very keen on this. We shall see.

Now need to determine a full kit for the girls and how do we get that.
