We are starting a new Vote Poll tomorrow on whether the towpath to Nantwich along the canal should be upgraded for walkers and possibly cyclists, or left as it is.
Today is therefore the last chance to vote in the current poll on the signposts around the monument in the Square.
So far, the results have been somewhat surprising:
- 12% say "Destroy them, 'we' know where to go!"
- 18% want to keep the main town direction signs
- 46% say "Replace with attractive 'finger' signposts
- 24%, yes, virtually a quarter of those voting say: "We need Welsh language signs as well".
