There's a host of new postings on the Archive on AudlemOnline run by Audlem District History Society.
Celia Bloor and other members of the team have clearly been hard at work. Recent posts include newspaper cuttings covering the quoting of an Audlem relief road scheme in 1981; raft race account from the same year; a 1982 History Society exhibition; the refusal of permission for bungalows near to the playing field and a Brine Leas photograph of a school trip in 1987.
There's now a huge array of information, photos, newspaper reports and documents going back through the ages on the Archive, all available by clicking on the banner on the Homepage.
You can even explore photos in greater detail and identify people you may know so that the team can add that name to the captions.
