New model railway club

Home » Latest News » New model railway club

I write to you at the suggestion of Peter and Christine at Audlem Mill as they have been aware for many months of our plans to form a model railway club in the area.

We have now found a home where we can not only meet (the easy part) but build and store a club layout. Our home is to be Wrenbury Village Hall.

The leaflet to the right has the details and a copy is already on display at the Mill shop.

Locally we are blessed with the finest model railway shop in the county, Trident Trains at Dagfields, and it is through Richard who owns that shop that we know there are several people in your catchment area who are enthusiasts.

Chaps from Market Drayton and Coxbank are waiting for our club to open so although at first glance we may seem 'off piste' in Wrenbury the distance doesn't bother the hobbyists.

The inaugural meeting is on Wednesday 22nd January at 7.00pm.
