There's a new Homepage article published today. Simply click on the title 'From silver bin to newsprint' on the Homepage.
The article follows a visit by Audlem Online to the UPM recycling centre at Shotton on Deeside where much that goes into our silver bins is converted into newsprint.
It's an unashamedly good news story — less land-fill, new manufacturing jobs — and many of them young apprentices — fewer imports of newsprint and waste reduced dramatically. And all from the silver bins.
