New ear protector range at Williams'

Ever alert due their long-established position in the centre of Audlem, Williams newsagent's Judy Evans has sent AudlemOnline details of a new range of ear protectors now available in the shop.

"We read with interest the Chatbox comments on AudlemOnline about some families suffering on Thursday evenings when the bell ringers practice until 9.00pm.

"We could hardly believe it when we found a range of French ear protectors going by the quite amazing name of 'Quasimodo' — he of the Notre Dame bells fame."

They come in a range of sizes too, each featuring a fictional character with some even suitable for young children. We particularly liked the 'Big Ears' range with a lovely graphic featuring the Enid Blyton creation and best friend of Noddy.

To ensure no-one wastes money unnecessarily, if you run like the clappers to Williams' today — after all there could be an overwhelming demand — you can borrow a pair and try them out during tomorrow's bell ringing practice.
