It doesn't seem like it, but it is seven years since Audlem Mill became the new home to our long established needlework company Abacus Designs.

Although we are known locally as Audlem Mill, to every needleworker we are still Abacus Designs. Whilst in Audlem Mill, our product range has widened considerably, and we now cater for most forms of needlecraft — and if we don't have it, please ask and we'll try to get it!

We are proud that as Abacus Designs we have been nominated as one of four North West finalists in the "bricks and mortar" section of The British Craft Awards 2014.

We hope that we can rely on local support to help us win this prestigious award for Audlem. Please vote for us — just click here to to the link to vote for 'Abacus Designs, Cheshire'. Voting automatically enters you in a draw to win a year's worth of absolutely incredible craft goodies! With your help, we can bring yet another major award to Audlem.

And within a few days, we'll be announcing a new feature of our business, with the chance of getting a free entry ticket to the Knitting & Stitching Show at Harrogate on 21-24 November.
