Mend our Mum filming

Many local residents will have heard of and seen much of the activity behind the filming of the Amazing Grace video to raise funds for the Mend our Mum campaign.

All is building to a crescendo in just under two weeks time when hundreds will hopefully be singing on the church mound in the centre of Audlem starting at 1.00pm. It should be an amazing spectacle as well as being extremely emotional.

We have been sent the current filming schedule which shows just how busy the intrepid team of John Gunstone (filming); Alisdair MacKenzie (Audlem's very own Gareth Malone) and self declared dogsbody and producer Ralph Warburton, will be.

Other members of the Audlem Music Festival team are pitching in too making this a major group effort.

The schedule remains a moving feast with other groups and individuals still coming forward to add their voice to this stupendous community effort to raise funds to treat local resident Berni Cliffe's cancer.

It has also made the lead story in the Chronicle recently and is being talked about across the area.
