In addition to welcoming existing donors, the National Blood Service is seeking new blood donors for the two sessions being held at the Public Hall on Friday 14th September. The sessions will run from 12.30 pm to 3.30 pm and from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm.
A National Blood Service spokesman said "We are experiencing high demand for blood and to ensure that we can meet all requests from hospitals, we are requesting volunteers to come forward to this new session. Would-be donors should be between 17 and 59 and be in good health. No appointment is necessary"
Remember — give blood and save a life.
If you wish to make an appointment, you can do this by telephoning 0645 7 711 711 or logging on to the National Blood Service's website at www.blood.co.uk
