A local resident who lives just outside the village has contacted Audlem Online to report some instances of fly tipping. The items dumped include tyres. Other rural areas have suffered from this as unscrupulous individuals avoid paying for the disposal of waste by dumping it at the side of country lanes.
Our caller suggests that anybody who sees any fly tipping taking place tries to get a description of the vehicle and ideally the registration number. PC Ken Maple should then be contacted.
