If anyone can help at all with this query, it would be very much appreciated.

One of the names on the Audlem War Memorial is that of Dennis Connor who died during the Second World War.

I am trying to confirm that this man was Trooper Denis Connor (number 7887264) of the Royal Tank Regiment, died in Italy, 9th February, 1945.

Would anyone have any information which can help?

(Please contact editor@audlem.org if you can help and we will publish the information and pass it on to Chris.)
