Audlem Primary School's website contains the following message:

"INDUSTRIAL ACTION — WEDNESDAY 30th NOVEMBER 2011

The Teaching Unions and Support Staff Unions are proposing Strike Action on Wednesday 30th November 2011.  If this National Strike goes ahead as planned, the School will be closed on that day.

The following activities planned for the day will be rearranged as follows:-


  • Mrs Hayward’s After School Christmas Cookery will take place on Thursday 1st December. 

  • Mrs Shackleton will hold additional instrumental lessons on Tuesday 20th December. 

  • The Over 60’s lunch will be postponed until Wednesday 25th January 2012. 

  • Sportscape After School Dance Club will be cancelled."
