Our next meeting of the Audlem District History Society on Thursday October 18th will continue with our focus of local people recounting Audlem's past.

We are looking forward to hearing from Dr. Alan Paterson and Bill Cowen on 200 years of the Baptist Community in Audlem.

Both Alan and Bill have been members of the Baptist Church in Audlem for many years and are uniquely qualified to talk about its history since its formation.

The meeting in the Scout & Guide Hall starts promptly at 7.30pm and will finish about 9.00pm after questions and refreshments.

Visitors are welcome, admission £2.  School children and full-time students free.

Dorothy Jones (Secretary)
