Local band Heavy Weather enhanced their already heavy weight reputation with a pulsating two set gig at a packed and appreciative Shroppie Fly.

With Jim Kirkpatrick in impeccable form on vocals and guitar, he was matched by superb keyboards and a driving drums and bass section. Add in some wonderful sax and the blues dominated programme hit all the right notes before rising to a fabulous Jimi Hendrix Voodoo Child finale that would have satisfied the most discerning rock fan in any venue around the world. What music, what a band, what a night!
