Rescue St James Church
I am launching an appeal to help with the fabric of this marvellous and so iconic a building here, dominating the village. The subject of what must be thousands of photographs, postcards and paintings. And such a beautiful edifice.
Major repairs are needed and with the full permission of our Vicar, Helen Chantry and the Audlem PCC, this new call for help is to be delivered by hand to each and every house here in Audlem, Buerton, Hankelow etc. A lot of footslogging!
Please do consider making a contribution and have your name, your family's name or your company's name forever exhibited within the church in the form of a plaque as a donor. Attached as pdf files are the front and back of the form to be used, courtesy of Joe the Printer.
I do hope we can together help in these works, and keep St James Church fabric in a good state for the next centuries..
