Wool, wool, wool
Last week we received a rather large delivery of knitting yarn -- 4-ply, baby yarns, chunky and double knitting. Shades range through the rainbow, and many in between. This now completes the restocking of the refitted needlework and knitting shop at Audlem Mill. Please visit for a browse, and may be some inspiration!
If inspiration seems to be lacking, we have a wonderful new selection of books all delivered just before lockdown. Choose from knitting and crochet titles, with around 50 of each! There should be something for everybody, but if not, as most of you know, if we don't have it, we'll try our best to get it. To complement the knitting yarns, we have a good range of knitting needles (both metal and bamboo) and crochet hooks -- so inspiration, yarn and tools are ready to go.
Yet another delivery prior to lockdown was a range of beautiful wool felting kits, some for beginners and some for the more experienced. If you don't fall into these categories, we also have wool tops, felting needles, and plenty of felting books. Just squeezing into this subject is our new selection of wool tapestry kits. Please come and enjoy a browse. If you're not local, have a look at our website www.abacusdesigns.com. If you don't see what you want, phone us on 01270 811059 and we'll do what whatever we can to help.

End of the Road! The way humans hunt, eagle eyed for parking spaces and the way animals hunt for food are not as different as you might think.
